Kid Lit Parade is a place to share ideas that encourage a love of books and reading.
Do you have an idea or project you used with children to inspires them to read or love books? Do you help kids make their own books? Act with them as characters in a story? Craft their fave story characters in felt or paint them with watercolors? Then please consider joining the Kid Lit Parade and sharing your ideas with like-minded literacy advocates. ![]() Kid Lit Parade was started by a quartet of authors, illustrators, and educators, along with Inkspokes literary e-zine, who wanted a place to share their passion for childhood literacy and join with others to support this cause.

Members can post articles or resources relating to children’s literacy on the Kid Lit Parade Facebook group page. We’ll also announce special weekly themes, like reading aloud or making simple books, to make it even more fun.
We invite you to share kid-centric ideas, links, and resources that support literacy. You can also share posts on your own social media sites, so that we link together in a single Kid Lit Parade. It's easy to connect with us on social media:
